[mythtv] Hauppauge Hardware

I'm looking to replace an old burnt out Nova-T PCI card with a new one,
either the new Nova-T or HVR-1100 or the HVR-1300 with hardware encoder.

Is the Hauppauge Nova-T PCI card described here
(http://mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV_Nova-T_PCI) the
original Nova-t which was actually a badged up TechnoTrend card, or the
newer Nova-T PCI card? The difference is described here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hauppauge_Computer_Works#Digital_Terrestrial_and_Hybrid_Range

There are several variants of the new card, if I buy a new one online
now is it likely to be supported by MythTV?

I've seen no mention of the HVR cards being compatible with Linux at
all, presumably I'd be better asking about those on a different Linux TV
mailing list?

I hope I've not posted this to the wrong list.

Thanks

Ben
