[mythtv] SoC 2006: Configuration Revamp Information

Hi everyone,

I just want to sum up this conversation, as I cant talk about it
forever work has to start!  The current plan that I havn't heard
any negative points against is having 2-3 levels of configuration
(easy,medium,hard or easy and everything), and using a popup menu
to switch between them.  I hope this satisfy's everyone desire for
a simpler system, and I will post either tonight or tommorow, a
list of the settings that will be put in the basic configuration,
with the difference being the advanced settings. 

As to the text config file, I will leave the settings as they are,
and once the ui portion is finished, I will look at doing somthing
to satisfy this.

If anyone has any major objections please let me know as soon as you
can.

ps. I will probably be doing two levels of configuration to keep 
things simple.  The options should be split up into enough groups
to make this feasible.
