I fixed that last night, but didn't feel like sending out yet another patch - 
was an issue with the frontend only partially reconnecting to the backend 
after a disconnect.  I've also fixed a hang if you disconnect/reconnect a 
slave backend rapidly (not caused by the patch, but something that came up 
during testing), and patch 8 was leaking socket objects..  Anyway, unless 
something major comes up, I'm probably going to commit it all tomorrow 
evening.
