OK, I have done the following with the 2 problematic recordings:
- edit, save cutlist from database
- transcode with 0.17 code
- restore saved cutlist, transcode with your fix
With the 0.19 code, both video streams were corrupt. With your fix, the
video streams were OK. So, your fix works. :-)
But, during my tests, I discovered another problem (not necessarily your
problem):
When transcoding a recording, where the seektable had been rebuilt
(because of renaming .mpg.old to .mpg), there is 1 extra second of video
before a cutpoint and this extra second sometimes looks a bit garbled.
So, it seems, that mythcommflag --rebuild does something wrong.
Can I do something to repair this, so that I can cleanly cut the
restored recordings?
Thomas
