able to clue me up)

Hi,

I am running a fairly old mythtv install, that has been working for months
OK.
Recently, its started getting periods of DVB#0 Rec: WARNING - No data from
card in 3250 milliseconds. etc
in the backend.

Nothing has changed in terms of aerial, DVB card, etc.

Whats wierd though is that the outage is ALWAYS 4250ms then it returns to
normal (eg

this happens over and over, every min or so throughout any program I record.
Its always 4250 ms...

I have tried running top, and nothing seems to be caning the processor at
that stage.
I have swapped out the ram and the hard disk for known good items, and
restored my root partition from a known good backup from well before this
started happening.

I am perplexed :( does anyone have any insight as to what I should do next?
i am OK with Linux in general, so the more techie the better AFAIAC

I have 2 DVB cards, and it happens on both, but not at the same time. If i
deliberately pull the aerial while recording, I obviously get the message,
but for both cards at the same time (as expected). Ive also proved that this
can happen for more than 4250ms (FWIW).

The DVB signal strength table seems to contain no records - does anyone know
how I can enable this?

thanks

George
