[mythtv] HDTV failing to record shows

Run mythtv-setup and go to your cards input section.

Do you see a "delay" setting?

Try increasing it and see if it works?

I used to have a similiar problem (log shows no problems, the entry is in the database, but not physical file).. Increasing this delay (to 500ms for me) seems to solve it for me. I'm going 2-3 weeks now with no failed recordings since. And for some reason I think channel surfing is actually abit faster.

Tj

For the last several days, myth has occasionally failed to record a
HDTV program. For example, it was supposed to record Bones tonight,
but no file was created.

Even with "-v record", I see nothing which indicates why it did not
record the show.

Monday it failed to record 24, but it recorded House just fine on
Tuesday. So I don think it has anything to do with my FOX channel.
My ATSC enabled TV was willing to tune in Bones without any problem.

Any tips on how to track down the problem would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John
