On the Watch/Delete Recordings screen, from the Action popup's "Job 
Options" menu, you can select "Stop Transcoding" for any recording for 
which there's a transcoding job in the queue.  I think it also works for 
playlists (although I've never used playlists for stopping transcoding 
jobs).  Doing this will clean up old queued transcoding jobs from your 
database.
