I find that lower bitrate streams stutter more often than larger bitrate
streams. My PVR250's bitrate is configured for about twice the bitrate of a
typical SD channel for me and is far less likely to stutter. HD content
(when not maxing CPU/IO wait) is even less likely to stutter.
