Thanks Paul,

I think I might as well work on the scheduler logic. This is the kind of
thing I do well, and I'm probably best to leave the HW/driver/capture
stuff to the people who know what they're doing. I've got a feeling that
there could be cases in the scheduler, which create complications -
although they may have seemed simple at first.

I've seen an overview of the scheduler rules in the documentation,
however, it seems to be written very much from a user perspective, so any
info you could give me for a starting point would be a great help. I want
to get to a point where I can detail the process used to allocate tuners
and resolve conflicts.
