Sorry, I wasn't clear, obviously the language stuff was mainly for DVB,
but the AC3/DTS was mainly for mythvideo as I understood it.

Ah yes, the audio description soundtracks can be amusing for a while.

AC3 on ATSC was expected but I didn't know DTS was possible over DVB.

The issue isn't DVD ISOs, as Stanley mentions the metadata files give
all the required information to select the correct audio track, the
issue is with DVD feature only rips (ie. as per MythDVD with 'Perfect'
setting, which was the default option for a long time). On these I don't
think it is ever possible to 100% choose the right track because the
required information is lost, however the current code gets it right
most of the time.
