go into your mythweb svn directory and run

svn update -r {2007-07-20}

move the mythweb svn to your web directory as you normally would/change 
data directory permissions/etc and this brought 
/mythweb/includes/mythbackend.php to protocol 35 and it's working fine 
for me.
