BTW I noticed only this weekend that I see the same behavior when
ejecting disks.  We were watching LiveTV and it dropped out of it.  I
was only ejecting the disk because I remembered I needed to put it in
the mail for Netflix before the postman arrived.  So there's a very
likely use-case right there :)
