hhmmm, i dunno. was it? how do i make it a tested patch?

did i do that? i said i perceive particular responses as "hostile".
and if a patch would give me credibility, i will certainly consider
that.

but, i am unable to provide a "mega-patch" to svn/head which solves
all of it. nor will i be running svn in the near future.

what i can do at the moment is provide patches on a per-file-basis, to
address the issues i have with .size() and .isActive(). is anyone
going to test those patches? will they be commited if it still "just
works"? i am pretty sure i can deliver these patches without breaking
stuff and without testing it myself.

when that's done, i might consider running svn to address more mysql-isms.

would this be acceptable? let's say i stripped tv_play.cpp from
.size()/.isActive(). who is gonna test that? would it be commited?
