Do you also have a font so small its near impossible to read when you 
first start mythfrontend and it says something about pre-scaling theme 
images?  If so, you have an incorrectly specified DPI.

(And, if it is the DPI issue, [11173] and [11174]--which will be part of 
0.21--fix the issue in a way which makes the font sizes independent of 
X's DPI setting.)
