So after a lot of trial and error I have found this audio issue to be caused
by Daniel's changeset 12439.

Using revision 12438 and watching LiveTV tuned to channel 7.1 the audio
works!
Using revision 12439 and watching LiveTV tuned to channel 7.1 and the audio
is broken.

I can use mplayer and "azap -r" to tune the station and the audio works fine
that way as well.

When it fails I also get a lot of these messages from the backend server:
2007-02-24 00:43:23.380 Started PESPacket, but !payloadStart()
2007-02-24 00:43:23.410 Started PESPacket, but !payloadStart()
2007-02-24 00:43:23.453 Started PESPacket, but !payloadStart()
2007-02-24 00:43:23.486 Started PESPacket, but !payloadStart()
