In fact, this is a great idea.

I've just come back to myth, and recently built and installed svn with
an HD3000. I'd fogotten, or never known, the fact that the analog
channels were supported both by dvb and v4l. So I set up both  :(.

It's just a trap for the unwary or incompetent to have both.
