Good point; many myth components have a lot in common.  TV recordings, movies,
music and photos all comprise individual items, each with its own metadata.  We
want to be able to search and filter all of them based on the metadata.  We
want to be able to construct and play "playlists" for most of them.  It would
probably be good user interface design if similar operations for different
sorts of "viewable/listenable things" were invoked by similar actions and
looked similar on the screen, at least to the extent that makes sense.  And
that consistency might give some useful extra functionality as some myth
components gain features already enjoyed by others.
