Unfortunately, I don't think there is any easy way for us to
query anything past the frontend being used. I think this is
by design. The 'frontend' query is less useful than it used
to be. In the past it told us the actual card model, so we
knew if it say had analog capture and could support Hybrid
digital + analog cards much better in MythTV, now it just
tells us what one piece of hardware is and we need the user
to tell us about the rest of the modules they have (although
this is done with non-technical language in the config.)
