[mythtv] mythbackend crashing on making thumbnails

http://mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-22.html#ss22.2 is the best way to
find the problem.  However, it will likely be "fixed" by
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/3361 once someone finds time to work
on it.
