[mythtv] MythWeb & Gallery

Hi all,

We noticed one of the requested features for MythWeb is a "gallery" style
addition.  This is something we would like to try and attack for a class
project.  There are four of us, and we have three weeks for the "official"
project.  After the class project, some of us will hopefully be continuing
to develop this plug-in.

Is anyone aware of a current project to do such a plug-in?  I tried
googleing to see if this has already been done, and it appears it hasn't.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

We are also open to suggestions for features.   Below are features which we
have considered (but time may limit their implementation for our "project"):

* Thumbnail generation
* Public image comments within MythWebGallery
* Web comments viewable during a slide show within MythGallery
* Any ideas that might be quick and easy (within a week) to implement.

Below are features which would be nice, but require significant effort and
we feel we would not be able to do for time constraints (at least for the
project).  Perhaps for version 2.0.
* Photo "album" support: The current mythgallery does not support anything
other than folders.
* Authenticated user "administration" of the gallery (which would include
uploading pictures to MythGallery through the web interface)
* AJAX display (if time permits, we will try and implement basic AJAX
functionality)
* Comment moderation
