It shouldn't be too difficult. I'm actually planning on adding
the mplexid restriction, when applicable, to the GetFreeInputs()
output, which will make it easier to add this functionality.
The reason I'm adding this is to make the functionality where
MythTV switches to the recorder containing a numerically entered
channel more efficient in the presence of input groups. I could
easily slip something in that puts an asterisk or something next
to currently unavailable channels in the program guide.
