Videos typically have no seek table whereas recordings created with mythtv do
and so do DVDs.
The seek table tells mythtv where a frame can be found within the file, this
means we can smoothly skip to the exact point in the file without guesswork
or searching for it.
TBH I'm not sure if mythcommflag --rebuild works for videos, but if you can
create a seek table for the videos, then seeking should be much smoother.
