Hi Guys,

Recently I have noticed a few recordings are missing. The show as
grey in the media list.

I don't see anything in the backend logs that might be relevant,
apart from when I try to view, when I get :-

2007-10-06 18:30:34.611 MainServer::HandleAnnounce Monitor
2007-10-06 18:30:34.613 adding: mythtv.internal.vanilla.net as a
client (events: 0)
2007-10-06 18:30:34.617 Preview Error: Previewer file '/
GetPlaybackURL/UNABLE/TO/FIND/LOCAL/FILE/ON/
mythtv.internal.vanilla.net/1004
_20071006175000.mpg' is not valid.
2007-10-06 18:30:34.620 MainServer: Failed to make preview image.

What I do notice when looking through the logs is lots of entries
like this :-

2007-10-06 18:27:05.656 DB Error (Error checking for channel lock):
Query was:
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM eit_cache WHERE chanid = 1707 AND
endtime > 1191605533  AND       status  = 1
Driver error was [2/1016]:
QMYSQL3: Unable to execute query
Database error was:
Can't open file: 'eit_cache.MYI' (errno: 145)

I don't know if this is related at all, or just a completely
different issue I'm also having.

Has anybody experienced anything similar? Any hints about what I
should be looking for. I'm not running with any additional logging,
so I'll turn on -v all any see if I get anything additional that
might shed some light.

I am currently running :-

$ mythbackend --version
Source code version     : 14575
SVN branch              : trunk
Library API version     : 0.21.20070910-2

using_opengl_vsync using_x11 using_xrandr using_xv using_xvmc

Regards

Ben
