[mythtv] backend idle shutdown even with connected frontends

Hi,

I would like to have the backend shutdown if it detects the frontends
are idle. I don't think it is possible to do this currently?

I have come up with a (quick?) solution and would apprecitae some
comments before I hack away...

I had a quick look at the code and noticed that there were messages
ALLOW_SHUTDOWN and BLOCK_SHUTDOWN added as part of the mythwelcome
patch.

I was thinking I'd hack mythfrontend and add a setting called 'Allow
backend shutdown when idle'.

If checked the frontend would send BLOCK_SHUTDOWN prior to any form of
video rendering. After video rendering it would send ALLOW_SHUTDOWN.

This way whenever the frontend is sitting 'idle' at any menu screen,
the backend is allowed to shutdown.

What you reckon?
Thanks,
Thepigs.
