By the way, it seems that many users assume they should use one of the 
example playback profiles and far too few of them realize they can 
create new ones or that editing the existing ones is OK.  Perhaps when 
working the "user-friendlification" of that setup page, someone will 
have a good idea for stressing the fact that the three "starter" 
profiles are simply examples and that the user should either customize 
one or create a new one that works as he/she desires.

Unfortunately, I don't have any idea how to make this more clear, so 
this is just a thought for someone who's a better usability expert than 
I (=just about anyone).
