[mythtv] HDPVR not autotrasncoding

so in my excessive use of the HDPVR unit
and mythtv these past few weeks Ive noticed that
even though I have "autotranscode" set for all
my recordings it never does. I can go back and
once its finished recording and select transcode
and it will do that just fine. but never automatically.
my other tuners in the BE will autotranscode though.
Is there some option that I missed or hasnt this
functionality been incorporated yet?
