Yes, at least I would guess so since it claims DTS support. I'll add the .dts extension and update the patch so you can find out.

I'm just experimenting at this stage, when I'm satisfied that any bugs are worked out of avfdecoder I'll get rid of all the other decoders and use it exclusively. An avformat  based encoder will be created to replace the flac, aac and lame encoders which will also increase the number of encoding options. The dependencies on libmad, libflac and libvorbis will go from mythmusic.

Lame will be an optional dependencies of libmythtv once Chris Pinkham has finished his work there. Native AAC support is in the pipeline so by the time 0.22 is release we might not even require Libfaad or Libfaac.
