Sounds a /lot/ like you forgot to uncheck the "inactive" checkbox on the
recordings schedule before you submitted the override.  Since you had an
inactive rule for the show, MythWeb displayed the current recording rule
for that show; therefore, the inactive checkbox was checked.  When you
submitted the override, you submitted it as an inactive override.
