Yes I saw that. However I was surprised that not all files were upgraded.

I don't see this as wasted time, I learnt heaps and it kept me busy
for several days :)

and I got mythtv to work for my stuff which didn't work before. I just
wanted to contribute back

Well, prior 14800 (14799), mythtv can play the recording I've linked
on the trac bug but will not record properly.
