Would you want your software calling home without your permission?
Talk about opening a can of worms...

My point with the branding is if they require branding, they're
unlikely to actually allow use to use it, as we can't be sure the
branding will always be there. Also, the current mythweather doesn't
really support adding in branding or copy right notices or the like,
so there'd have to be some development work before that even becomes
an option.
