I think his point is, that what you're trying to figure out here is what
fits within the boundaries of the GPL.  For this, you're best talking to
the FSF, who've got people whose sole job is figuring out these issues.
If you can come back from them with an agreement that what you're
wanting to do will fit within the GPL, then you're unlikely to get any
issues/problems from people here.  I very much doubt there's anyone on
this list with the knowledge (or inclination) to figure out these legal
issues for you though, so continuing to post won't get you any closer to
a solution.

Your only other option is to get agreement from every single contributor
(a nigh-on impossible task) to either allow you to go ahead, or to
provide Myth under another license.
