Are these HD-PVR MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) recordings or just some avi file or 
whatever you imported?

Also, have you debugged it to find that it's the AC-3 track that's 
causing the issue or was that just an assumption based on the log messages?

Might be helpful to mention the answers on the ticket.
