Hi All,
I was hoping to put a plug in for #6786. It's a fix for a bug with UDP
Notify. The issue is that mythtvosd or UDP Relay will only work on the
first program because the UDP socket doesn't get closed when the user exits
the program. Since the socket never closes any future messages get eaten by
the original socket and don't get painted to the screen. The fix closes the
socket so that future programs can use their own sockets and paint
appropriately. I've been using the patch for the past several weeks and
haven't seen any issues.
Thanks!
Doug
