[mythtv] Ticket #7067: Initial DVD playback speed too fast.

Hi Manuel,
Regardless of any ill effect it may have on your own particular machine,
I have done my best to make the patch "obviously correct" and I believe
that it *is* correct - it fixes real logical errors with the code. There
is explanation in the ticket (#7067) if anyone cares to read it.
It also happens to fix DVD playback for me and several others without
adversely affecting playback of recorded TV in the way you describe.
What you see is most likely the result of (yet) another bug in Myth. I
am aware of at least one - you might like to try the attached patch as a
starting point - I'd really appreciate some testing of it. It fixes an
issue with frame dropping (which Myth, as far as I can see, pretty much
completely fails to do correctly) which might cause symptoms such as
you've described.
I do have to ask that the changes in r22947 NOT be reverted. It fixes
real bugs (read the code!). If it exposes other bugs then they need to
be fixed separately. I'm happy to work with you Manuel to figure out
what is causing your particular issues and see if we can figure out a
solution, but if r22947 is reverted then I'm going to have to give up on
MythTV.
