When playing classical music there should be no fades between
songs, the next song should be played immediately after the
previous one without any pauses or pops. The "songs" are often
just parts of the symphony labeled for easy skipping, but are
parts of a whole. If incorporated into a play list, each album
should be played in order, even if the play list is randomised.
Randomize the symphony order, but not the symphonies themselves.
Implementation wise this could be done with play lists of
play lists where the inner play lists are tagged with a
"play in order" tag.

Some pop CD's have teaser songs that begin after a long pause at
the end of a CD. It would be nice if these were detected and when
played in a randomized play list the pause should be skipped.

Being able to import play lists from iTunes would be nice, but
probably is not worth the effort.

Being able to play music or radio streams on a number of frontends
at once would be a killer feature. This could be implemented with
RTSP streaming which provides a stream clock for synchronization.
Other devices that support playing RTSP streams could join the fun.
