Thanks for the commit. It looks good for my platforms,
although I'm sure it is still broken somewhere.


If we have more problems with broken shells in the future,
it might be necessary for configure to generate cpsvndir.
Only other option might be a Perl rewrite.
(what is one more dependency :-)
