I think that is not the route to go... I remember some earlier message 
IIRC from Stuart that it would be better to use the methods written for 
Mac (already in the code base AFAIK) and deprecating libcdaudio all 
together.

I am not much in favor of inline patching and would like to see the Qt 
stuff done differently or better gone (as I am not sure if that is still 
needed). I can understand that now there is no other option.

I am certainly going to follow this up if I can find the time, since my 
win32 compiles seem to be working again. Had some serious issues with 
the binaries not running I was tracing down, but since the binutils 
updates they seem to be fixed.

I will, but am unsure on when that will be done. I certainly would like 
to see MythMusic to compile and work on Windows since I use it a lot on 
my Linux system.
