John,

If the version of the script at
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythcutprojectx does not work with current
trunk, you can add a new section to the page for the trunk version and
add another "Code box" (use the existing one as a template) and some
description explaining how users should decide which version to
download. In other words, you can have as many different scripts (or
script versions) on a page as you need. Feel free to make separate
0.23-fixes and trunk sections and add a Table of Contents so users can
click directly to the one they want.

I do understand why you might be weary of adding a version you haven't
personally tested to the wiki page, so feel free to, instead, recruit
some trunk user who's using the script to handle that part of the page. :)

Thanks--and thanks for keeping up with/following up on/maintaining your
script.

Mike

Background (but I'm pretty sure you understand this, since you've been
editing the wiki page for the script)

We had started the process of moving all the user-contributed scripts to
the wiki before you had submitted the script. So, the
mythcutprojectx.sh script was placed on the wiki--in the Scripts
category ( http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Category:Scripts ) and,
specifically, in User Job Scripts (
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Category:User_Job_Scripts )--where the other
user-contributed scripts were moved.

The new home of mythcutprojectx.sh is
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythcutprojectx .
