The theme doesn't have the power to only use a part of the font file.
I have no idea what you are seeing as I do not use a non-latin
character set, but since I am not the author of the fonts, and the
theme doesn't have the power to restrict which characters are used
from the fonts, I am at a loss as to what to tell you.

The source sites for the font files are in the LICENSE file, they
would be more expert at troubleshooting font issues than I.
