[mythtv] "tidy" for the c++ source code?

In the extras repo you'll find a rule file for astyle which matches as closely 
as possible the mythtv coding standards. Which is to say that it gets you 
mostly there but isn't perfect and may need tweaking. I suggest taking a 
backup before using it just in case you don't like the results.
