Hi Nicolas,
I really appreciate Your effort and time spent to explain things.
I'm using Linguist 4.6 on MAC and still believe there are some issues
with this tool.
I.e mythfronend.ts, module ExitPrompter:
Eng:
Do you want to go back and fix this(these) problem(s)?
Pl:
Czy chcesz wrócić i poprawić ten(te) błąd(y)?
Linguist warnings:
Translation does not end with the same punctuation as the source text.
Translation does not contain the necessary %n place marker.
Here I simply don't get where is problem...
or module PlaybackBox:
Eng:
%1 [%n item(s)]
Pl:
%1 [%n pozycja(i)]
Linguist warnings:
Translation does not refer to the same place markers as in the source text.
Translation does not contain the necessary %n place marker.
The same for:
Eng:
There is %n item(s) in the playlist. Actions affect all items in the
playlist
Pl:
W tej liście odtwarzania jest %n pozycji. Akcja będzie dotyczyła
wszystkich pozycji w liście
Warning:
Translation does not contain the necessary %n place marker.
Regarding translation completeness: indeed currently mythfrontend has
only 60% of translations. Due lack of time to do all translations, I
choose approach where I'm translating first strings which are seen most
frequently. After dong this I translated quite frequently seen ones.
Currently I reach place where I practically don't see Eng strings except
MythTV setup. As setup will be rewritten - I decided to concentrate on
other things, wait for new setup and complete all translations at that
stage. Currently my professional/personal time not allows me to finish
mythfrontend translations in 100% - so pls commit my original patches to
codebase.
Thx for Your help
