Thanks for the input. When you say "Not through choice", are there
any particular concerns about MariaDB? (Speed, memory, ...?)
The reason I ask is that I was asked about providing variants to the
MacPorts port so that people who favour a certain db, Python or Perl
version could avoid installing another less-desired version. OTOH, I
can't possibly test with all the combinations so I'm concerned about
allowing too many choices. I was hoping to be told the list was
shorter! ;)
