I am not one of the developers, but I do know that you will probably get a
better response to your questions on the myth IRC channel.  You can locate
the information on the channel here: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/IRC

FWIW, it sounds like you have some good ideas and the talent and
determination to get them done.  I'd love to see some of your ideas
implemented.
