In my case when i have tested eit, sometimes eit collection is never started
(you need to wait a minimum of 5-10 minutes or so until it starts) and
sometimes it starts right away.

I have a backend log with -v eit saved from my dev box with this error if
that helps.
The log is pretty clean from other stuff since it is a dev box.
I haven’t restarted the backend yet so it still is stuck since a day or two
ago.

But I guess you also need to reproduce it to see where the problem is.

Perhaps I can connect gdb to the running instance and make some backtraces?
Note that I have a few minor additions in the eit fixup on my dev box since
I was working on a new guide fixup.
But don’t think those should be the cause of this problem.
