The sample on the ffmpeg ticket plays OK in MythMusic but fails badly in 
mythavtest. The issue Stuart is having with the noises while playing 
back mp3s is I believe a different problem though.

I'll let Stuart provide a sample track. Hopefully he has a track were 
the problem is more obvious than the one I have.
