I rolled up a backup from 3 days earlier

I'm not sure if you ran the devel/ringbuffer branch, there were
various attempts (though it should only have affected the frontend,
and never what you reported).

The problem remain is that I can't reproduce that issue anymore, so
it's a "worksforme" type.
Did you run the commflag or another method to recalculate the seek table?

if you find a way to reproduce the issue with a new recordings, then
please re-opened a bug... but there's no way your dissect could have
pointed to that commit. It is more likely a coincidence and something
occurring with the seektable (at a guess)
