Applied the patch on a .27-fixes box (patches for chasing #11119/#8052,
plus looking for hdhr+ OTA issue) and it looks promising.  I have not seen
the pauses that happen when the program changes at the top or bottom of the
hour.  I am still seeing some pauses on recording starts, but that is not
unexpected since someone scheduled a record of every olympic broadcast.  At
times, that is 5 recordings kicking off at once.
