It is just convenient for me to have QT5 installed because I need it
to compile from time to time a program under development which
requires it.

My goal is just to test the recent UpnP changes in the backend, I try
to find the shortest way to do it...

I've created the packages but was unable to install them on Debian
jessie. It was perhaps a bad idea from the beginning, because - as I
understand - they are intended for Ubuntu.

Hence I created a virtual machine with Ubuntu 14.10 and, with some
difficulties, installed the packages. Unfortunately I'm unable to
configure MythTV because of problems similar to those occuring earlier
in Debian. I think I have to discuss them on the myth-users list.

Thanks to all of you who helped me to reach the present stage of testing.

Best regards

Janusz
