It doesn&#39;t really matter for me if this ticket is closed or not, however, I have to state that though avcodec now supports PAFF, there is still one outstanding bug and at least one outstanding unsupported feature (spatial direct) blocking it from fully supporting PAFF/MBAFF. This patch is still very much in use.
