[mythtv-users] Mandrake 9.0 and alsa-util vs OSS

things are coming along on the install. getting close.

when i go to 'Watch TV' i get a fault that is apparently due to my sound
configuration.

by default, OSS was on my system.  That's what i use for xine & xmms.

per the instructions for mythtv, I installed the alsa-utils rpm and I am
assuming this is what myth is looking for.  Has anyone done this change
from oss to alsa on a mandrake 9.0 system.  It appears the documentation
only addresses the installation of alsa sources.  If anyone has done it
with the alsa-utils rpms - i would appreciated knowing how to modify my
system so that i don't screw up xine and xmms which use oss drivers.
